Nc Caa Agreement

The North Carolina Comprehensive Liaison Agreement (CAA) is a national agreement for the transfer of credits between N.C. Community Colleges and N.C Public Universities. This agreement was approved by the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina and the N.C State Board of Community Colleges. The CAA gives certain assurances to the student passing on; For example, the CAA identifies community university courses suitable for transmission as optional subjects. It also defines courses that meet the requirements of preschool and general education. The Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) is a national agreement for the transfer of credits between NC Community Colleges and NC Public Universities. It applies to all 58 nc colleges and 16 university campuses. If all the conditions are met, it guarantees admission to one of UNC`s 16 four-year institutions. The revision of North Carolina`s National Joint Agreement in 2014 resulted in significant policy changes to encourage the transfer of 58 public community colleges to 16 four-year public institutions in North Carolina.
